I've been reading all week about everyone worrying about how awful their Mothers day would be. Some turned out not to be as bad as they'd hoped, some worse. I held no expectations, as DH was supposed to have surgery this week, but did not. So here was my day:

SS17 stayed with a friend, so he was gone all day, score one for me. DH,SD14, twins11mos and I met the inlaws for church then lunch afterwards. I got a card from DH, one from "the twins", and one from SD. SD got me a heart shaped locket, and DH got me a heart-key necklace(he's got a tat of a heart in prison bars with my name) and earrings. We hung out at inlaws all day. We came home and DH took pictures of me with twins and skids which he's uploading to FB where BMs mom and sister can see (we're on good terms with them). Put everyone to bed and am enjoying a glass of wine in which I rarely indulge. The best part? Skids didn't even ask to call BM
