it is also better then head lice....I am scared to death that BM will send them covered with head lice again, I have never had it and I really dont want to...

Ring worm? how does a kid get ring worm?

OMG I never even though of lice! Gross!

Ring worm isn't actually a worm. Its a fungus. A fungus that grows on dirty skin. Highly contagious. Highly disgusting.

ewww....now I need a shower. I hate stuff like that it is nasty. I grew up in a shower every day household and if I go longer then 24 hours without one I freak out. Camping I take baby wipes (I am not a girly girl by any means I just have been in the desert, days with no shower and promised myself that I would do that ever again, deployment stinks)

He's a 12yo boy, plays sports. He should be a two shower a day kid! I've heard that soldiers love to get baby wipes, I can see how that would be refreshing out in a desert.

While I am a big believer in the non custodial parent shouldn't get out of dealing with a sick kid, I would think as a parent the BM would make sure they treat infections and lice and stuff out of concern for their childs comfort and well being. jerks!

Fair enough, both parents should deal with a sick kid. But, the one who discovers the sickness should at least give the other a heads up!

Both DH and I caught the flu from his kid. We were not informed she was sick until after we picked her up. She's , you think someone could have mentioned it. Now I'm burning PTO because I'm feverish aka contagious and can't go to work. Sad

Been there, done that, burned the tshirt. When my BD and bioson had visitation, I gave a heads up to my ex-hubbys if children were sick; giving biodad the option of switching weekends or making up the time later. No problemo. In fact sick kids probably don't like to be shuffled around to different houses nor is it good for them or anyone else.

Not GG or the Behemoth!! He'd LOVE LOVE LOVE to take them when they were projectile vomiting or had explosive green apple trots; high fevers, ring worm, you name it. And I'd invariably come down with it shortly thereafter (and so would GG). The Behemoth couldn't WAIT to have GG come racing over to literally pick them up and place them in the skidmobile (bleechhh i can't believe i drove one of those things for years b/c of GG's "angels.") Ahh the smell of rotting chocolate milk, piss and stale french fries dropped unbeknownst to me under the seat. I refused to clean up after them when I officially ended my doormat days.

I will say, though, that when they were ill, they tended to be QUIET which was much better than their usual decible level which was akin to a 767 taking off with detonating nitroglycerin on board via a pneumatic jackhammer.
