Daughter, I became a mother
Daughter,
I became a mother when you were born. When you were an infant craddled next to me I would look at your hair, and your eyes, your toes, and your lips, I am marveled by your beauty. Having a daughter is the greatest gift a mother can experience. When you were a toddler your energy made me tired, made me old, but every new wrinkle, every sleepless night meant that I had a daughter, and there is no greater gift than that. When you were a little girl, I loved your stories, your laughter, and always wanted to be there to wipe your tears. As a teenager, I see you becoming a woman, I woman I'm very proud of. After all of these year of being your mother I am still marvelled by your beauty, tired by your energy, I still love hearing your stories, my heart sings when you laugh, and I will always be hear to hold your hand and wipe your tears. I'm proud of you, and proud of who you're becoming, but most of all I'm proud to be your mom.

My dd is 17 is in just about everything in school a kid an be in, Cheer, dance, choir, Ace, FBBLA, has all A's in AP classes. She is a very good kid just some teen stupid stuff. She loves the out doors.
I think I want to say something like how much she is like me in her Independence and from the time she could talk she refused to wear anything but dresses, she would also sit on her bed and study flash cards, she could write her name by the time she was 2. She has always been a very independent child and continues to be. Her stubbornness and Independence will get her far in life. umm I'm trying to think I am just not good at this stuff.

Purple Daisies here is my take on the letter :
Daughter,
When you became my daughter I started the best journey of my life. I told you as a little girl that one day you would become a fabulous adult and constant source of pride for me. You have proven me right beyond my wildest expectations - see I told you I am always right. As this journey ends another one is beginning for the both of us. The hardest part about the next journey for me will be letting you go and knowing that you are taking all of the life lessons that I have taught you along the way. For you the next journey will be about living life, exploring your options and taking all of the life lessons that I have tried to teach you and putting them into practice. You are entering such an exciting time in your life - the world is at your feet and all you have to do is reach out and grab it.
The day you were born is the day that I knew I was put on this earth to be a mother. When they placed you next to me right after you were born I looked at your hair, eyes, and counted your finger and toes and quietly marveled at the beautiful girl that I had been blessed with that day. Having a daughter was the greatest gift I have ever been given. Your energy as a toddler amazed me and most times wore me out - but I was still so thankful for those sleepless nights and those very busy days because you were in them. When you were a little girl I loved to sit next to you listening to your stories, hearing your laughter and most important being there to wipe away your tears. As a teenager the times we have spent have meant so much to me - you are becoming a woman that any mother would be proud of but I am especially proud that you call me Mom.
After all of these year of being your mother I am still marvelled by your beauty, tired by your energy, I still love hearing your stories, my heart sings when you laugh, and I will always be here to hold your hand and wipe your tears. I'm proud of you, and proud of who you're becoming, but most of all I'm proud to be your mom.
Thanks you caregiver that was
Thanks you caregiver that was wonderful and it brought tears to my eyes.
Your welcome PD - it actually
Your welcome PD - it actually took me about 2 minutes to write that from all that you had - you had a great start just needed to make it more flowery - I try to be a tough chick on the outside but am a softie on the inside - I am changing the last paragraph a little - see if you like this better.
After all of these year of being your mother I am still in awe of your beauty, tired by your energy, love hearing your stories, my heart sings when you laugh, and I will always be here to hold your hand and wipe your tears. I'm so very proud of you and who you are becoming but most of all I am so thankful and proud that I am the one that you call Mom. Love you forever -

I like that you ladies are
I like that
you ladies are wonderful. I had a start about the journey but other than that I was clueless. I know that I talk about dd as being a great kid and all, but she really is. She does some normal teen stuff like tonight I told her to go to the store for some things for dinner and to drop them off at the house BEFORE she takes a friend to the place she needed to go. what did she do? bought the stuff but took her friend to the place she needed to go then brought the food home! What I didn;t understand is that she had to pass our house on the way!!!!???? :?
But if that is the worst things she does I'm ok with that. She did get in trouble but at least it wasn't something worse.
