We had a heart to heart last night and we spoke about the birthday party - he kept the kids invited and disinvited BM and her family. Which BM seemed ok with.

DH walked out of our room after our convo about SD6 about 'being afraid of the dark' and at this point it was 1130 and she was still wide awake (bedtime is 930) he ripped into her about respect and not playing games about being afraid of the dark, etc. She apologized and went to bed.

Today, we were out and about all day (school is closed this week). She requested bagels for breakfast which we had gotten (I am a carbahaulic lol) and she ate 2 bites of breakfast - not surprised. Two hours later we stop for gas. When DH was out of the car SD asked if I was hungry bc she was 'starving'. I told her I wasn't hungry yet bc I ate all of my breakfast. She put a puss on and was pouty (DH ignored it). We went to finish our shopping and kept prodding DH about 'what are we doing next' over and over and over.

We got home and DH made a homemade pizza and I made breadsticks, nice family lunch ya know. Incorrect. SD6 was PISSED we didn't get take out/or go out for lunch. After being 'starved' you can't complain that someone is making you lunch. KWIM? Well she ate one bite of pizza and was onto her second breadstick and was reaching for a third. I said 'Are you going to eat the pizza DH made you for lunch or just stock up on cheesey bread?'. She shot me this sarcastic who do you think you are talking to look. DH saw her face. HOLY MOLY - he told her this was what he was talking about earlier about disrespect. He went on and told her if she doesn't treat me better that she will get an express ticket to her room. Well the mood changed immediately. I am so proud of DH. I think he really had an eye opener after last night. Thanks for all of your support and kind words yesterday!!
