DH likes some stuff that SDs
DH likes some stuff that SDs and I don't like, i.e. KISS and Aerosmith.
Our whole family loves Jimmy Buffett as well. We like the Beatles, Beach Boys (luckily for us, their music is played constantly out here in Southern California ) Simon & Garfunkel, Fleetwood Mac, the Byrds, the Eagles, etc.
Have you ever been to a Jimmy Buffett concert? How is he? I hear he's great live.
Jimmy Buffett is so much fun
Jimmy Buffett is so much fun in concert. The crowd really gets into his music, and before the show its like a show in the parking lot. If you ever goto one of his shows, break out the grill, the corona and the tequila along with your most tropical digs..
I love mostly rock and
I love mostly rock and alternative like Jane's Addiction, The Cure, Motley Crue, Bon Jovi where my DH loves, Celine Dion, Phil Collins and Genesis - it's kind of funny....

WE "BOTH" love the exact
WE "BOTH" love the exact same music,(we're fanatics) and its a Passion of Both of ours, along with most of our hobbies etc!! And we BOTH have massive collections.from 1920- now..everything except "RAP" but we OLD >>LOLOL
IF you'd like some, let me know..I have approx, 160,000 online full versions! wav & MP3 RIGHT now my desk top is down. But I do have external drives and quite a BIT on the laptop!!
DH likes a lot of hard
DH likes a lot of hard rock--Kiss is his favorite band. I've loved Billy Joel's music since about 1977. But we both really enjoy listening to music a LOT. My ex and I didn't share any musical tastes...he thought there was only 2 kinds of music, country and western. I like soft rock, rock n' roll, pop rock...classic rock, classical, southern rock, a little bit of country, new wave as well as 'old school' music.
Since DH and I have gotten together, one of our hobbies is going to concerts. We've seen Kenny Chesney/Keith Urban/Sammy Hagar in July, 2008; Kiss, Billy Joel/Elton John, Eric Clapton/Steve Winwood, Fleetwood Mac, Keith Urban, Dierks Bentley/Brad Paisley, REO Speedwagon/Styx; Steely Dan; & the Brian Setzer Orchestra. My mom and I saw Neil Diamond in October, 2008. Oh, and my daughter and I saw Nickelback back in September.
When he was married to BM he never used to go to concerts...coz she was always spending money, and taking 'advances' on DH's paycheck so that would always leave them short the next payday. I calculated she cost them almost $1,000 in fees alone doing that. So he could never afford to go to any concerts! In the two years we've been together, we've seen 10 concerts together!
There are just a couple of groups left that we'd LOVE to see... Steve Miller Band is one...DH would love to see George Thorogood and we'd both like to see Alan Jackson in concert.
