HELP! What are we missing here?????
Question....my SO has been paying CS since May of this year. He was originally ordered to pay about $875/mo. In July, they had another court appearance and his BM requested to have the payments reduced to $700/mo. For the 10/24 and 11/7 payroll, the CS payments were not taken out, and we do not know why, as he hasn't received any notice or spoken with her. So we don't know what to do or to think. Fast forward...In March of this year, my SO grandfather passed away and in August his son (who is 17 that he was ordered to pay CS for) received money that was in a certificate of deposit. My SO was listed as beneficiary. My SO opened and deposited all of the money into his sons account. In addition, purchased him a car in the amount of $2,500 and the remaining cash is in the bank, as he can use that for college books (next year), etc. Is it possible that my SO's sons inheritance has something to do with this?!?!?!?

He's calling our attorney on Monday to see if anything was mailed to him and if not, he'll be reaching out to CS. In response to your comment, that is not true, as when the change took effect, the $700 was coming out, up until 10/24. Also, I never said one had to do with the other. What I said was maybe she stopped it due to his inheritance. It's puzzling, because we've seen her every week for the past 4 weeks (at SS football games) and she never once mentioned anything.
