I've tried. For many years now. I don't tell him I don't like him, I just don't feel guilty about it anymore. The kid is 13 now and still eats like a caveman. Chomps like a sloppy dog. We just choose not to take him out anymore or have people over to our house when he's visiting. He doesn't care that people think he's gross. Maybe he will later at a high school reunion where people tell him they didn't like him because he chomps.
Today he was telling us his rules....it's not his responsibility to put away clean dishes from the dishwasher because he is only with us every other week. We rarely ask him to do anything , mainly because I don't know where his hands have been. And we've been told that it's our responsibility to have only food he likes for dinner and in the cupboards to snack on. Well, he's in a for rude awakening next time her visits. All I will stock will be healthy foods and water. I guess he'll starve. LOL

This year I won the vacation battle. He ruined our vacation last year by being an a-hole and spoiled brat so I flatly refused to take him this year....the result a calm peaceful time with laughter and good friends.

We are expecting our second child in November and are planning to move into a house will all of the work done.....do I really have to include a bedroom for the brat?
