Cannot believe I haven't posted since February. The time away has been less than pleasant, I just fell off the support wagon. Probably not the smartest thing I have ever done.
SD still living here - next week is her 29th birthday - yes you read that right. Her suprise gift is her sister, nephew, mother and step-father visiting from out of state. Sister and nephew staying with us and others are staying elsewhere. DH is just as aprehensive of the visit but has chosen to just "ignore and go with the flow" and hope it passes quickly. His main focus is spending time with the grandkid - actually I hope that part goes great.
My daughter lives with us as well and is hoping between work and school she can evaporate into the background and not have to deal with the drama.
I am attempting to grow a THICK skin and tie my tongue to the roof of my mouth and hope nothing slips out. I have chosen to ignore any comments that contain "dad's house", "lets go to dinner, ask dad if he wants to go" etc. I am hoping my husband grows the balls he was lacking last year and says - "let me check with ....."
Okay, that is all I have to post, just looking for strength and hoping my posting my fear would ease it all. So far, it has.
