O/T - sir breaks-a-lot and other assorted noogies updates

went with him to the neurologist yesterday, as two different 'second opinion' doctors suggested severe nerve damage following his crappy shoulder surgery a year and a half ago.

there is one deep nerve that passes through a canal in the shoulder joint, which control two muscles - one to lift the arm, and the other to rotate the shoulder towards the back. both those movements have not been improved by round after round of physical therapy. turns out the function of the nerve that controls that is down - by EIGHTY FREAKING PERCENT. the good news is, the neurologist said it's highly likely to be fixable. and dh is thrilled to know exactly what is causing him so much pain and weakness.

the two different 'second opinion' doctors both noticed two additional tears on his second MRI, as did the radiologist. i venture to say another surgery is imminent anyway, so now they can get in there and fix his nerve too. yay!!!

still no progress on the digestive front, however. ugh.

there are two new noogies furbabies now. a kitteh walked up to kaos and his friends, and decided this was home and has not left yet. he hangs out w/ hubby in the garage - lol!

the other one is yet another baby skwerl. he's currently asleep inside my shirt. i get to nurse him with a syringe every few hours. his little legs are getting stronger, he can scoot better. i'm looking forward to when his eyes open - *squeals*

lurch's inexperience reared it's ugly head. after wrecking his own car (3500.00 damage - it's still not fixed). driving dh's, he ran into our mailbox, then scraped a kid's car in the school parking lot. IN THE SAME EFFING WEEK. he then had the balls to ask to drive my car - UMMMMM, NO.

kaos is, well, just kaos. it's always something w/ that kid. i wont say any further, same $#!t, different day.

ANYHOO - i do hope the drama on STalk has died down. i was really getting tired of that crap!!!!!

yup, he's back. i dont think i posted anything about that day. nothing in particular happened, she just dropped him back off after school one day. funny thing is, i hadnt needed my anxiety med for two whole weeks (imagine that....) then that one day we were starting to wrap things up at the office, and this girl sees me pop my meds and says "i havent seen you take those in a while!" i told her "i feel a disturbance in the force...."

sure enough, by the time i got home 45 minutes later, he was back.

But he was never coming back! Grandma was going to take care of him forever and give him whatever he wants when he wants?

sounds like lurch is morphing into kaos when he's behind the wheel. Maybe no driving for him for awhile? Clearly, he's not ready for it.

Don't get me started on the baby squirrel. At least you're not nursing him from your boobs - lol!!

I wonder why the kitteh chose kaos? I am thinking that the kitteh could see past the kid and knew that you would take care of it Smile

that's what i told dh regarding lurch! meh. i care not as long as MY vehicle remains untouched!

u know u love my squirrel }:) }:) }:)

i dont think kitteh chose kaos, he and his friends were playing down by the main road and the cat just walked up to them - we think it's likely it was dumped. once they brought him up to the house he was like "yup, this is it." it's been two or three weeks and he wont stray far from the house at all!

heaven - a lady here in my office does animal rescue and has quite the network both with shelters and other rescuers, but also with locals who will foster for her. one of the foster ladies messaged her and said "my dog brought home this baby squirrel at 4 this morning, he was ICE cold - help!" so she texted me and i went and picked him up!

lurch is actually a good driver, which is why that week was so disappointing. it was totally an "off" week for him for some reason, a week when nothing went his way. we'll eventually be able to fix the suspension on his car, but he's just going to have to drive it the way it looks even tho' he doesn't *want to*. it has a giant gash all the way down the driver's side and the finish on the wheels was damaged. i didnt do it, YOU did, so suck it up buttercup!
