I had another doctors appointment yesterday to check on me and baby. They did bump my due date back by 3 days after studying the ultrasound which is no big deal everything looks really good. They checked babys heartbeat which was 170. Up from last visit when it was 140. I've heard the old wives tale that if its over 140 its a girl but I'm not putting a lot of faith in that 

However being that I am over 35 my doctor strongly suggested I take a couple of extra tests (the NIPT test and a carrier test) just in case there was a chance of something making this a more difficult pregnancy. The selling point for me was we will get to find out the gender with in the next 2 weeks instead of having to wait to the normal 20 weeks. I am team boy but DH is team girl. We will see.... The kids all want another brother except for SD she would live to have a sister so she isnt the only girl child in the family. 

So I'm super excited to find out and so thankful that everything seems to be going as well as it possibly can be.
