I cleaned house

sterlingsilver's picture

Last evening I got this amazing spurt of energy and ended up cleaning the whole rec room - steam cleaned the couch, washed the walls and windows, scrubbed the furniture, and then swept and mopped the floor with bleach! My house FINALLY smells like a home again! Biggrin It feels good to have ss18 gone!

"I'm done"

This morning I was cleaning house and low and behold I am cleaning up the mess in the rec room around where ss18 sleeps. I found several dishes and rotten food stuffed into his laundry pile. It smelled and had vile mold growing on the remains. I texted SO and said "I'm done". He didn't text back for awhile and then he did and he said ss18 is "moving out today". He brought him home to clean up the mess awhile ago and then without a word they both left again. Now I am wondering if in fact SO will hold to his word or was he just placating me.

I cannot believe the balls ss18 has. This morning i was letting SO sleep in b/c yesterday he worked 15 hours and came home last night totally exhausted. I sat down on the couch while all 4 boys were getting ready for school. The two younger, bs14, ss15, got ready and left. Then bs16 and ss18 got up and were getting ready to leave. I was sipping my coffee and watching the news sitting on the couch so my back was to the front door and stairs leading upstairs. SS18 walked over to the door and said goodbye and I said goodbye. I thought he left but instead he creeped up the stairs.

I need some (reasonable) advise

Ok I am sitting here just feeling so BLAH. As you've readin my blog, I have the ss18 from hell. He moved back in about a month ago. For details read my previous blogs but for now I am btw a rock and a hard place. My SO who is soon to be my dh, first mentioned to me when ss18 needed a place to stay that ss would only stay here for 2 or 3 mights. Initially SO was going to camp out in the truck with ss until he could get him into a place.

Now that ss18 has moved back in and is living on my floor in the rec room in the living area, my WHOLE house now REEKS of his stinkin feet and bed/body odor. Now in the early mornngs when I go downstairs to make and enjoy my coffee all I get to smell is ss18. Now I have to come back to my bedroom to watch the news so he can dress and have the whole house to himself while the rest of us "hide" in our rooms b/c we all can't stand him.

I guess maybe I should blog more often so that it doesn't have to be so much in one blog. But here is what is going on in a short version.
So SS18 moves back in after we kicked him out a couple months ago. I can not believe I agreed to having him stay here again - for a short while - but here we are.

just my imagination?

I'm just wondering if this is just me imagining this or if others might be seeing/experiencing similar things/feelings. I am a lot different then my ss's bm. She is drug/alcoholic, didn't do ANY housework ever (dh did it all plus worked full time when he was married to her) and I am no drugs, rare glass of wine, cook, clean, bake, laundry washed & folded etc. So here's the feeling I get, that my ss's resent me for making their bm look lame.

Not sure I can do this...

My SO is interviewing today for a job that is far enough away to warrent him staying there all week at a friend's house and coming home Fri evening and leaving Mon early. This means I will have to take care of skids. I have been very succesfully disengaging to the point where I hardly see them and b/c SO hasn't been full time employed for so long he's been home for the past 2 1/2 years for them whenever they're not in school. He's done all their cooking, cleaning, laundry etc. Now this is all going to fall on me and I am not sure I can or want to even deal with them at all.
