why do I keep making "stabbing" remarks?
I am up with DH, the boys are all getting up for school, I have a headache b/c I think I am finally coming down with the cold/flu that everyone else has had for the past week or so. I say I feel flushed and might have a temp. Then ss16 gets out of bed but bs15 is in the shower so DH tells ss16 to go use our bathroom. I am still sitting here not saying a word but DH looks at me and says what now you're mad b/c he has to pee? I say NO I am reading something about caregivers needing to take care of themselves too but I better not get sick b/c I have to work and not lay around the house like everyone else. DH yelled at me, write that in your forum and ask why I always makes stabbing remarks like that.
So I wrote that and am asking why do you all think I made that "stabbing" remark, how I can't lay around the house and be sick like everyone else b/c I can't afford to?

Well lately since bs18 moved
Well lately since bs18 moved back in after coming home from job corps, DH has been super edgy (I understand b/c I hated it when ss19 lived with us while he as 18-19.5 yrs old) and always picking on my kids and SUPER defensive of his kid. Yesterday he went out and bought all sorts of groceries but he bought extra things he knew only ss16 likes to eat, and not buying little extras for my boys. Last week when I went grocery shopping I went down the cookie isle with bs15, told him to pick out a package for himself and his older brother and then I picked out 2 pkgs for DH and ss16 and bs15 told me I am so selfless (a nice compliment but I really honestly never buy more for my boys then his kids). Anyways, then bs18 started preparing some of the Minute Rice DH had bought for ss16 and DH said uhm, ss needs that b/c he is in sports. Ok I get this but we all have to eat and when the food is gone we buy more. I told DH that when ss16 has his own job and buys his own extra food he can keep it in his room and otherwise what we buy can stay in the kitchen for everyone. The only time my boys keep food in their room is if I have bought everyone something like cookies, gum or other snacks and then it's theirs to keep for themselves.
ARRRRRGGGG, sometimes I HAAATTTTEEEE this blended family, your versus mine CRAP.
He is acting extremely
He is acting extremely childish and egotistic. My DH can be a jerk too when he wants to but when he sees me flushed and running a possible fever, he takes care of me like a good husband should but that is bc my DH has a heart. I wish I could offer you words of wisdom here but your DH is stuck in his own little world and likely wouldn't be able to listen anyways.
BTW he made the stabbing comment and you pointed out a "fact" what's his excuse??? My husband would be ashamed of himself if he behaved like that especially AT the woman he claims to LOVE.......
