We went, along with DH's parents. But it made me ill to see how disrespected they were all weekend... Me, I couldn't care less because it's their M.O. and how they've come to be in order to please their mom. My IL's made a whirlwind 6 hr one way trip to see the SK's graduate, only to be ignored, not just at the ceremony, but ALL WEEKEND.

My MIL is so hurt right now, as is FIL and DH.... but FIL's and DH's way of dealing is to act like nothing is wrong. MIL on the other hand just wants to express her anger and gets shut down by both of them.

Funny how SK's are there with hands out when they want something from IL's or DH but can't even treat them half-way decently.

Makes me sick.
