I can't believe it - Glenn Fry died. He has been battling Rheumatoid Arthritis, Acute Ulcerative Colitis and Pneumonia and died from complications.

He was my favorite Eagle and was in my favorite episode of Miami Vice: Smugglers Blues.

I saw that, so sad. I love the Eagles.

I'll be honest I did not know rheumatoid arthritis was potentially fatal. Learn something new every day.

I'm a huge concert fan, too. When I was a flight attendant, I met every band you could possibly think of.

The favorite concert tour of all for me was the Eagles "hell freezes over" tour. The absolute best. And I've seen Springsteen in New Jersey, Billy Joel in New York, and U2 at both red rocks and Ireland. The "hell freezes over" tour was hands-down the best. I was also a huge fan of Smugglers blues and that particular Miami Vice episode.

I've been listening to Eagles tracks all night long.

Huge concert fan as well - although I don't travel like Echo does! I saw the "hell freezes over" concert and thought it was great. One of the best I have ever seen.

Going to get my dvd of Smugglers Blues and watch it tonight in memoriam.

i dont 'do' the concert thing often, so i've never seen them live. but the hell freezes over album is by far my favorite of theirs.
