Graduation success!!

Well graduation was an extreme success. We got there, sat in our seats, SD met up with BM. We didn't even see where they were sitting. We were standing near them for like 10 minutes when we first got there so no big deal. 

Graduation ends. By the time we get out and find SS17 BMs parents were already gone and she was leaving and says "enjoy this bundle of joy." Think SS was getting annoyed. Took some pics and headed to the car.

So here we are today is the day. Well.. last night we weren't sure if it would be today or tomorrow because of the weather...

SOOO! SS17 comes home from work and says this to SO..

"Mom says if graduation is cancelled tomorrow she won't be able to make on Wednesday because she is going on vacation and already had to postpone it a day." 
 

SO shocked by this goes.... "she really said that?!" 
 

SS17 replies well yeah and she had the vacation planned. He brushes of BMs comment basically.

SS17s 8th grade letter to himself.

I'm more then likely going to be full of blogs this week...

So got home from work little while ago and the first thing I always do is start picking up the house. Actually.. let the dogs out lol. 
 

So there is a bag on the kitchen table with SS17s name. I look in it.. It is stuff for graduation, town logo mask  town logo key chain, wrappers, and a few pieces of paper. 

Curious.. I take the papers out and look.. this is what I find.. SS17 8th grade letter to himself. They must have given the seniors them today. This is what it states:

So she brought SD for the monthly nail appointment today. Picked her up at 9:45.. home by 11. 
 

SD calls me at 2:30... "missk can we get our toes done tomorrow?" Me: "sure I'll call and make an appointment." Granted.. SD doesn't ask her but, you know the girl has graduation (8th grade) Tuesday.. why not OFFER to get her a pedicure too. I'll add BM has never taken SD for a pedicure.

BM texts SO today.. "Do you know what seats you reserved. I am trying to get two more pending schools approval." 
 

SO: "I picked 4. Are you taking one of the kids?" 
 

BM: "I know we are divorced (something else I can't remember)  I assumed you had tickets for them YOU said you picked 8. 
 

LOLLLLL BM NO HE DIDNT !!!!!!! HE TOLD YOU HE PICKED FOUR YOU PICK YOURS!!!

He didn't respond. 
 

WTFFFF DOES YOU GUYS BEING DIVORCED HAVE ANYTHING TO DO WITH ANYTHING?!! 
 

Graduation updates.

So I call SO this morning and ask him what's up with the graduations (SS17 high school and SD14 8th grade) because I was making my schedule out for that week. He hasn't gotten any other emails so I told him to call school and see what the deal is... if it's just for under the tent 2 tickets etc. 

Where was BM?

SS17 had prom today. She didn't ask to help/be involved with anything to do with it. So SO was getting a little worked up about having to deal with her for pictures etc. 

So he calls me and tells me he asked SS17 if BM was meeting him... SS17 replied with no she said she had to work. 

Guys.. she works a M-F 9-5 job and leaves early whenever she can. 

I am shocked she didn't use this photo op opportunity. 

SO redeemed himself and MOTY strikes again.

I'll start with the positive. In previous years SO has never acknowledged me on Mother's Day. I know I know not my kids etc BUT, I don't except skids to do anything (it always this weird pink elephant in the room on Mother's Day) but, I wanted him to do something nice for me.

Well, he got me a dog mom card with the dog paw prints (he bought an ink pad LOL) and bought hanging plants for the front porch. It was nice.

With Mother's Day approaching this weekend I wonder what fun and eventful things BM has planned to do with her kids to celebrate this special day. Let's have a recap of what has happened the past few years.

2016: I'm pretty sure they were with her (when it was EOWE) I don't really remember as it was only 6 months into my relationship with SO.

2017: we were away in FL with skids so it was awkward because everyone was wishing me a happy Mother's Day.

2018: picked skids up, brought them to Dunkin' Donuts, talked about court (classy right) then brought them home.
