They like him!
They Like him....They really Like him!!! My bio-kids..his SK's gave him a card for Father's Day and instead of just signing it like they usually do...the 13yr old wrote a wonderful note to him. "You have been my Dad since 2001. You drive me here & there and do so many more things for me more than I can say. Hope you have a great Fathers Day!!" She gave a big hug & Happy Father's Day earlier too!! She was always the one to keep him at arms length. He asked me later if I put her up to it.... Swear to God she did it on her own!!! It was sooo nice, that she recognized just how much he's been there for her and all he does for them!!!

You must be really pleased!
Dear Lovin-Life,
Boy! You sure must really be pleased! Probably, bowled over! That certainly was a really nice thoughtful gesture that your daughter initiated towards her SD on Father's Day! Congratulations! I'll bet in made his day!
Regards,
Sweetie
Lovin-Life - that's
Lovin-Life - that's fantastic! My SK's also wrote me a Mothers Day card (the days are celebrated on different dates in Australia) although unfortunately I am a little cynical and think my BF put them up to it because he knew how sensitive I was about the day.
I am so happy for your husband!!! It is a great feeling to know you are appreciated!
That's Wonderful
Glad to hear it - It is so hard for children to accept a new person in their parent's lives - it takes a lot of time and patience. That's wonderful. Although my daughter and I have only been living with my boyfriend for a little over a year, my daughter came up the stairs on Father's Day and wished my boyfriend a Happy Father's Day (which was hard for her because of her own dad). She then took the time to go to breakfast with us and then went to her dad's in the afternoon. Glad to hear your kids are accepting of your husband.
I am so pleased! He really
I am so pleased! He really does do so much for them. I'm glad they know it & appreciate it. My daughter still needs work when it comes to accepting her Dad's GF...(together 1 yr)..but GF seems to be a good person as well, who also tries hard & does alot for them...and I'm sure my daughter will come around to her in time as well. (They don't spend as much time with them..so it might take a little longer to build the relationship....)
