Is it clean behind the couch?
Today is the first day SD10 has been here after the CPS call. The case is still technically open. DH and I had a long conversation this morning about how uncomfortable this all made me. To his credit, he actually listened and didn't get defensive and we actually brainstormed some solutions on how to proceed.
Fast forward a little bit. DH has been around SD all day. They have been watching movies and just doing their own thing. Perfect. The second he gets up to go to the kitchen ( and out of the room) SD announces that she is going to check behind the couch to see if its clean! I wish I were making this up.
I stop her and ask her why does she need to know that. She says she just wants to know. I tell her to go sit down and I let DH know what happened. Again, to his credit, he didnt get upset with me. I plan on getting a book to document this kind of stuff. I'm not sure if it will lead to anything but I dont want to wait until something major happens (again) and I dont have any information on how the situation got to where it is.

Make that her weekly chore! Lol.
BM has been whispering in her ear?
Arent CPS visits fun?
Lol... I feel for you on the cps visit nonsense.
I’m sure SD13 will “report me” to BM someday soon and we’ll get a CPS visit about how I treat my DS or keep my house. I guess I should go ahead and make a plan.
Good luck with this stupidity!
I’d not question her. I’d say
I’d not question her. I’d say “oh yeah some clutter did accumulate behind the couch. Here is the vacuum/duster/bucket/broom and it’s your chore now.”
