BM Upping the Ante
We had SD10 for Christmas. I had a bad feeling about her playing with my nieces and nephews because when anything doesn't go her way she is always making something up or blowing it out of proportion. As I was packing my kids up to leave my Niece11 told me that SD got a new phone for Christmas. I asked if she had it. She didn't know but she said she didn't see it.

Update to "Not 100 percent sure about SIL"
Thanks for the different viewso offered here the other day. I heard what a few of you had to say about not doing this on Christmas and how it would be the wrong time amd even how I should let DH handle it. This is what I did.

Not 100 percent sure on SIL
SD10 came over yesterday and dropped a bit of info. She and BM went to DH's sister's house. I'm not sure the nature of the visit but its not the first time that I've heard they had an actual relationship outside of DH. It is the first time I have heard of it happening since the CPS call tho, so i got to thinking:
DH told MIL about the CPS visit. Mil was devastated and said she wanted what was best for all the children. I understand they are all her grand kids but ALL the children aren't being threatened, mine are. SD10 is safe so the problem is BM's actions.

Is it clean behind the couch?
Today is the first day SD10 has been here after the CPS call. The case is still technically open. DH and I had a long conversation this morning about how uncomfortable this all made me. To his credit, he actually listened and didn't get defensive and we actually brainstormed some solutions on how to proceed.

New here but a lot on my mind
BM reported DH and I to CPS saying 'i hit DD2 so hard she got knocked to the ground and that DH left them in the car to go grocery shopping'. Both, of course, are false. This report came in after BM put in to get his visitation reduced and a show cause for child support (that he's been paying). She's trying to strengthen her case because there is no valid reason that any court would decrease DH's time with SD10. But why throw my kids in the middle? BM has been filling DH's head with "SD doesnt want to come over" and BM has been setting DH to look like the bad guy a lot lately.
