BM's Surgery today...hoping she's in lots of pain

BM has a habit of faking illnesses to get attention/sympathy/drugs. Most notably she faked brain cancer to avoid paying her mom back 30K a few years ago, and basically badgered her gyn to have a hysterectomy (she and DH were still married at the time and says the doctor only did it to shut her up). There have been many other smaller fakes like having her arm in a sling for 2 months for a mysterious ailment. Always at opportune times for which she receives some benefit.

The past 5 years with SD21 have been rough. It started with mean comments, stealing my things, making up lies about me and telling these lies to others, as well as convincing the other two skids to believe them. It escalated last year to her trying to get SD16 and SS15 removed from DH's custody because I'm so terrible and getting CPS to take the kids away because of made up accusations about an argument between DH and SD16. She also threatened to beat me up, etc.

No court last week for contempt, of course.

So for all my worrying about BM getting served with our contempt motion, she did get it. Her new lawyer (#6 I think) called ours to say he would be asking for a continuance.

We had our lawyer make our proposal to hers, which involves removing overnight visitation and taking out the month July which we just put in last year. Her lawyers responds with, "well why don't we just let them go for a little while and see how it goes without signing anything" Um, NO!

Got our court date...feeling a little shady about all this. Input please.

So our lawyer finally got his act together and calendared our motion to take away BM's overnights because of her multiple violations. All the details are in my last blog which I would link to if I knew how (someone feel free to tell me how cause after over a year on here I should probably know how to do this).

Getting tired of dealing with BPD/HPD BM, I guess it's back to court we go.

So I haven't blogged in a while, which I guess is a good thing. But here I am. We're taking BM back to court for a hopefully permanent change to the custody order, which she has violated about every clause in since it was entered a year ago. But this time, it's bad. We added a clause that states "no overnight guests of the opposite gender" in the last order. I know many here may not agree, and there are many live-ins on this site.

So the judge granted our ex parte motion on Tuesday barring BM's BF (accused child molester) from being around the kids. Her visitation was to start Friday @ 6, but we knew that if she hadn't been served with the order, she isn't bound by it. So Thursday I called the sheriff's office to see if she had been served, she hadn't. She's an old pro at dodging service, so I explained what was going on and they said that to call back Friday afternoon, and if they hadn't served her yet, they'd come do it at our house when she picked up the kids.

Just found out BM's BF has 3 pending sex offense on a child charges

So BM has a new boyfriend since the beginning of June. We didn't know much about him other than his first name and his last name was a big secret, none of the kids knew. The only other thing we knew was that he used to be a cop in our town at some point in the past. So we say to ourselves "Oh, good, if he used to be a cop he probably doesn't have a criminal record unlike the other convicted and previously imprisoned drug dealers/wife beaters she usually dates."

Skids leaving Friday for the month of July! But, who knows how long it will last.

Skids leave Friday to spend July with BM for the first time ever. They haven't spent more than a week with her since the divorce over 5 years ago. Every other time they've spent a week with her she has melted down the next time they saw her because she can't handle the pressure.
