After a 10 day vacation to VA to AZ ..I'm back.

Vacation was good ...our only issue was not the kids but DH.  Good lord that man cannot navigate.  He also tries to take over planning the vacation with absolutely no idea of how to plan and make sure everything is taken care of.  DRIVES ME INSANE.  

The Beaver Zone….(insert twilight zone music)

Imagine if you will a time when parents cater to their kids and the kids run theirs lives.  This is story of GWR aka my SS and his large fury rodent of a mother ...Beaver.....or so they thought....

 

I need the riddler to explain this riddle to me

Ok...so I have to hear from SD about how Beaver has no money....she is broke, Beaver doesn't have enough money for a vacation.  Beaver doesn't have the money for cable or internet.  Beaver doesn't have money so don't flush the toliet more than a few times a day.  (We found this one out when SD stopped flushing over here...WTF...and we told her NO YOU FLUSH HERE) .  Beaver doesn't have the money to take the dog to the vet.  

 SD isn't complaining so much as trying to figure this riddle out for herself.

If you have NO money why do you do the following:

DD, DS and the trip for their Dad..the VI...and my involvement

So..my two kids, DD and DS have wanted to take their dad for a small hiking trip since last year.  Enter covid...and yea that didn't happen...till now.

Father's Day and the Village Idiot's birthday is coming up and they planned a 2 day hiking trip paid for on their own.  

DS went to book the cabin that DD found and his credit card kept being denied.  MMMkkk.....DS is calling his bank but meanwhile cabins that are pet friendly are being snatched up at a fast pace and they were afraid they would lose the cabin.

DD learning to say NO to the VI...his narcissism is showing

As the holiday....nothing brings out the narcissist rage like a holiday.

Memorial day (here in the states)...I told my two kids we were having crab boil for Memorial Day.  They were welcome to come but to let me know so I could buy the right amount of crab legs.  They both said they were coming.  Cool..

He really did graduate so we now have one more off our books.  3 kids down and 1 to go. 

SD did indeed NOT watch the graduation with us.  She had 0 interest in seeing her brother.  We did see the Beaver, Beaver Sr and Mr. Beaver SR on the video. All I can say...that woman must be drinking heavily because she looked like someones grandmother, not the 45 that that she is.  Whew..she has not aged well.

GWR looked ok...kind of cheesy but ok.

Just when I think GWR aka SS couldn't be more of a d'bag...he manages to surprise me.

GWR will be graduating by the skin of his teeth..aka the school passed him to get rid of him.  (Don't blame them...I wouldn't want to keep him either.)

GWR gets 4 now 5 tickets to graduation..and of course we get none of them.  Are you shocked??  Nah...neither were we.

SD logic...or no logic as I like to say

This is just a little thing but it irks me as DH went to alot of trouble to help her out.

SD has very bad skin.  Like probably will be scarred from acne skin. SD hated that her face was also so broke out and painfull.  DH took her to the dermatologist who prescribed her anitbiotics to combat the bacteria and face wash/cream to be used twice a day.  SD started to us it and her skin was almost cleared up.  
There were some dark spots left that would take time to fad.  Great right...until......SD went to her Mom's.

Talk of vacations or lack there of by HCBM's reminded me of Beaver back in the day.

After the divorce DH was pretty much in the hole every month.  He was paying CS, the mortage on the marital home till it sold and still have to support himself.  Plus he got stuck with most of the marital debt....oh joy.  Needless to say the guy despite making almost 3 figures was broke as a joke.

Enter me...I'm not rolling large but I'm not broke either.  So...we decided to take a vacation to parts in the south.  Nothing fancy..just rent a condo at the beach and go for a week.
