Oh yay!
Last night boyfriend and I were going to a late show. I crashed a bit before and I woke up and sent him a text asking if the kids' mom had picked them up.
He replied that he suddenly remembered it was his holiday. At 9:00 on Sunday night when his feral kids are supposed to be leaving. He suddenly remembered.
I swear to Christ every holiday weekend this summer has either been his or he has gladly taken them so she can go on a fun weekend trip.
I hate that bitch.

No doubt BM sucks, but lay most of that pissed-offedness in your BF's direction. She may suck, but he's the one that is supposed to bear an allegiance to you.
My partner is similarly weak and lame when it comes to standing up to his kids' horrendous BM. she sucks for sure, but he's the one I get disgusted with. He knows how I feel and what my expectations are. Prioritizing not pissing her off over my wishes is a big fail on HIS part.

This is where I go nuts! BM sticks to the parenting guidelines when it’s conveinient for her. I might be a little too anal retentive and have a copy of the parenting guidelines open in a browser window on my phone. I am also not afraid to tell DH when it is BM’s weekend when she tries to insist that it is DH’s. She specifically told DH one time “no, you get paid this Friday, it’s your weekend to have skid.” WTF?!?
There's no way for me to know
There's no way for me to know if he actually remembered at the last minute or if he was just too big of a pussy to be honest with me. I have my suspicions.
Of course he loves his kids so it's hard for him to understand why having them around an extra day just f****** ruins my three day weekend.
