When DH says positively stupid stuff and I want to punch him in the head.
My dad, his wife,and her son are all coming to my state in the northeast for a visit in September. They usually make the trip once every couple of years. My dad hates to fly, so they have a travel trailer that they haul and stop and see friends and relatives as they make their way across the country. When they get to my state, they usually park their trailer at my Aunt and Uncles and stay there. This will be their first trip back since my Uncle passed, so not sure if they will be staying there or not. They are planning on staying for about a month.
.....and shit just got real
Just got this text message from SD19!
" You are probably the rudest, most insolent human I've ever encountered in my life. Maybe you should worry a little bashing me to my grandmother and take a little more time soul searching. Literally you are a replication of a mean girl in high school. I didn't come down here to please you, I came down here to work and see my family. So if you could keep my name our of your blabbering mouth it would be much appreciated. Act your age, it'll look great on you. And grandma said nothing about it, I just happened to see it"

SD19 is G.O.N.E.!!!!!!
...AND didn't take the car that we were offering to give her!!! Of course she didn't leave without her usual drama fest. Friday night, MIL called DH and asked if they could borrow our truck to take SD19 back to University state because she decided not to rent the UHaul because UHaul told her to pound salt when she told them her plan of having FIL drive it 4 hours, unhooking it and then having BF dad haul it another 4 hours.

Poor SD19 has never had anything "handed" to her.....
DH just told me yesterday that SD19 made a comment when she was at our house a couple of weeks ago along the lines of "Well it kinda sucks because I'm sure BS7 will have everything handed to him." WTF you little witch? How quickly you seem to have forgotten all the things that have been handed to you????

$ hundreds of dollars for crappy hair dye jobs
$ hundreds of dollars for phones every time you lost, broke or just HAD to have a new one
$ hundreds of dollars for season passes to ski resort that you HAD to have.. and you went ONCE

And here we go! Around 2 weeks before SD leaves to go back to University state and let the typical drama begin!

SD19 impending departure /car decision/blowing money etc
We're down to like 17? 18? (too lazy to figure it out) days until SD goes back to university state. I can't freaking wait! She is moving into an apartment with her BF off campus, so there will be no need for her to come home for the summer ever again.

DH had dinner with SD Saturday night. Thankfully she has been staying at MIL's since the end of May-beginning of June, so I haven't seen her AT.ALL! and she should be rolling up out of here in 2 or 3 weeks so hooray!!!!

First ever, perfect, peaceful Father's day!
BS7 and I got up and made DH breakfast and gave him his Father's Day card with some lottery tickets. DH actually won $10.00 on a dollar scratch off, so he was excited. BS7 first grade class also had a Father's Day "coffee break" that DH went to on Friday. DH said it was very nice and he came home with some cute stuff that BS7 made.

Why can't my DH parent?? and why is BM1 spawn in my fracking house?
Last night I get home from work and he tells me that the back door to the 4-Runner, that SD has been driving for the past week since she got her DL is broken. I thought he meant like back passenger door, so I said "so? So what if it won't lock?" He says, because it won't stay shut and that he is talking about the rear hatch or whatever you call it. He said he was annoyed with her because she's only had it a week and is fucking things up. He said he told her to bring it to our house so he could look at it, but that was 2 hours ago.
SD passed her test and she's off driving our car. UGH
So DH just called and said SD passed her road test. He said the BF was waiting for her at a gas station a few miles from our house because they were going to go to neighbor town to walk the gorges (in the rain) so DH let her take the car (that he is supposedly giving her) to go meet him. He told her she can drive to the hotel tonight, then drive it to work in the morning and then after that she is only allowed to drive it to work or MILs and that's it..."no galavanting" Yeah.... OK DH!
