Pink hair don't care
I know this is completely petty, but this is the only group I can share my morning with.
SS19 is starting his first year of university next week. He has been strongly hinting for months now that he wanted to dye his hair pink. His friends are all doing crazy colors (granted, they've only been doing bright colored highlights), but SS wanted his entire head to be cotton candy pink. After going over the likelihood of hair damage, cost of upkeep and maintenance required he still wanted it...so I said "OK, it's my gift to you." Personally I think it's fun and he's not going to have this opportunity once he starts internships. DH was not in agreement with his choice, or mine for supporting him until....he found out SS had scheduled a lunch with cray cray BM immediately after the appointment *diablo*
SS got his hair colored while I had a treatment done at the same time. After 3 hours he was so happy with the final color. It did look fun, and I wish I had the guts to pull off that look!!! I was glad to gift this to him (EVEN IF HE HAD TO BE PRODDED FOR A THANK YOU *nea*)
He left the salon and went to meet BM for lunch. Ummm, let's just say she was far from happy and it was a very short lunch. After years of making our life a living hell I enjoy these little jabs. Again, I know it's petty!! *crazy*

Bhahahaha!! That is awesome!
Bhahahaha!! That is awesome!
You are right though, this is the time for him to do this! In a few years he won't have the option if he wants to be taken seriously.
OMG - you helped a skid
OMG - you helped a skid change their hair color. I know most BM think this is something on part with capital murder - even if said "child" is legally an adult. A one fingered salute to BM! Good work.
Ha... My SDs BM messaged me
Ha... My SDs BM messaged me during her summer visit with her and asked if she could dye the tips of her hair green... Like, lady, you know YOU are her mom, right?? Do what you want!
I couldn't believe it. I would never ask another woman if I can do something with MY child lol
