Dear Abby's Sunday Column Eerily Similar Analogy to PAS

Dear Abby had a column on family alienation as it pertains a funeral. I particularly liked her answer on this one. . .that the alienated/targeted family member should just build a new family of their own (usually with SM). As you can see, several family members glommed on to the alienation as is typical when the (usually) CP BM recruits her family members to trash dad and SM.

This column totally parallels Parental Alienation and sometimes the only answer IS to walk away and start a new family:

A man who has several different BMs and has one child from each (horrible as far as CS is concerned and keeping track of the multiple BM personalities)

OR

A man who repeatedly breeds with the same incompentent, half witted, BM, going over the two kid threshold with her and expecting things to rectify themselves each time a new one pops out?? Full well knowing that it won't work out and the relationship is doomed? Isn't the definition of insanity to do the same thing over and over and expect the outcome to be different?

Was watching "The Omen" last night. I got to thinking about how Damien was like a stepchild and the mother was like a SM. There was no maternal bond since "Damien" really wasn't "Kate's" child.

One particular scene where Kate goes into the kitchen when Damien is there making himself a sandwich in the middle of the night and how he just walked right past Kate without making eye contact actually drew a "WOW!" from GG!!

So GG covered again for the Behemoth's horrendous PAS by telling a mutual friend that VD couldn't come to her counseling session due to some scheduling conflict!!!

WHISKEY TANGO FOXTROT???!!!

VD (SD stb 13) purposely blew off GG THREE TIMES IN A ROW; not because of some "scheduling conflict" but due to the fact that GG had called her (read: the Behemoth's) bluff.

and VD is predictably bombing out.

Venus De Milo (think TV show Living Color; SD stb 13) entered 7th grade this year after having to go to summer school and squeaking by on an average one point above failure. Can anyone say "pity grades?"

Anyhoo, VD has not even been in school for a month yet and lo and behold . . . she failed to turn in a number line project so got a "zero" there. Her current "special ed" Math class average is 63% (two points below failing here in NYS)

About tiresome "Darlene" who was scorned and now can't get off the "oh poor me, I'm the victim" crap??!!

The writer was "Darlene's" ex-SIL and said she and many others had grown tired of "Darlene's" failure to move on.

The poisoning of the children against their dad and his new family; the constant stories of "boo hoo; he cheated on me" although the marriage was in trouble for YEARS, is unrelenting.

Obviously No Self Support Reserve in NYS

So as you may know, GG (the biodad I live with) is now paying the SMALLEST amount of CS he has ever had to pay since moving in with me.

That being $1,000 a month. . .and he makes $15 an hour on a 40 hour work week.

You do the math. Just looking at the Housing and Utility Charts for NYS. GG is FAAARRRR below the figure even for just housing and utilities after CS and taxes are taken out.

Two Years Ago Yesterday. . .

The Homecooked Meal that was the "final straw" in the PASout:

Prince Hygiene made the deadly mistake of turning up his nose at tonight's dinner, even after GG cooked him his special kid friendly meal last night.

"I don't like meatloaf"

This comment was ignored by the both of us. I made the meatloaf as "kid friendly" as possible too, hardly any spices other than a bit of salt and pepper; i minced the tiny amount of onions into miniscule amounts.
