Big surprise SD showed her ass
After telling everyone she didn't like her gifts SD threw a fit because DH told her she couldn't go to a friends on Christmas Eve. She actually said "so I'm stuck here for three hours with nothing to do."
Meanwhile bs, his girlfriend and bd were picking up the mess in the living room while DH and I put away food and cleaned the kitchen. Ummm I've got an idea, perhaps you could make a contribution to the household.

And she is 17? When I first read this I thought she was 8 or younger.
She will be 18 next month.
She will be 18 next month. It's pretty common for her to act as though she is much younger. She wants the freedom of an adult with the responsibility of a 10 year old.
Her bm is not much better. She thinks DH should take care of both of them. She has taught sd that DH should provide whatever she wants. It's always someone else's fault. If DH didn't give her what she wanted she would refuse to see him. Until the two of them got the police called and DCS got involved. BM apparently believes SD has oppositional defiance disorder because she's argumentative and can get physically aggressive. This somehow removes her responsibility.
