Ahh...Four days into 18....lol
You know...I knew something would occur once she turned 18, I just wasn't sure what, when, and where lol. Well I got a glimpse just a few minutes ago. LOL....oh my her dad is just going to LOVE this!
I got to meet one of her "friends" who we have never met before (red flag)...the rule has always been that we meet the friends before you get to do things with them etc....this girl was VERY "chatty" lol (red flag). Told me where she works, that she has two jobs etc...one job is at a bar/casino/restaurant (red flag) (who lets their high school kid work in a place like that?).
They came to inform me (red flag) that they have plans to take SD our tomorrow night (red flag) because they didn't get to do anything for her on her birthday. Isn't that nice? They want to go to friends bar/casino place and eat(red flag)...then go to a bar concert! (Ding ding ding! High Alert!) LMAO!! OMG...I can not wait to inform DH of this. I have to tell him cuz she works till 10 tonight, and this is supposed to happen tomorrow (he Soooo loves the last minute stuff).
I would imagine that he should let her go. At least that will be my .02. We need to see if she is going to be able to be responsible when she is out and in an environment like this. I assumed that she would just choose to run away again....however that option may not be out of the running yet, because if her dad says 'no',then the chances are pretty high that she would choose that option. She is 18 after all now, and you all know how those newly 18 year olds know EVERYTHING!!
I will keep you all updated. Maybe she will surprise us and be a good kid? ......not going to hold my breath though....all of you did notice all the red flags? lol....oh Lord!

She is 18 right - so can you
She is 18 right - so can you tell her no???
I sure as hell hope so! If
I sure as hell hope so! If she still lives with them, they should be able to tell her no. Whether or not she listens is another story. Scenarios like this scare me because my BD will be 19 before she graduates from high school. You can bet I still expect her to be obedient to me even though she's hit the "magic age" of 18. If not, there's going to be some trouble!
