So where do i even begin.... i know the way i feel might not be "okay" or "normal" but i can't stop myself from a feeling that's obviously there. I fell in love with my husband but not his 2 children (9 year old son, and 4 year old daughter). I think it's gotten to the point where i need to end the marriage because i can't stand his children at all and i wish they would disappear and never have to see us or talk to us ever again. Me and my husband have a 6 month old daughter together and i don't want his kids anywhere near our baby.

I'm so tired....

ive been with my bf for 4 years and I'm at the point where I'm ready for marriage. His SS and I have the best relationship and he loves me dearly. Although I will never like the way he was conceived (1 night stand) we're still amicable and have a good schedule w his bio mother. 
 

Bf is nearing 30 and I'm in my mid 20s. He thinks the issue lies w financial aspects but I just don't understand that bc nothing much would change.

Does anyone else feel like your SO only really wanted to marry you, to give the SKs a "real family"?  And not necessarily because he truly wanted to care for you and love you?

Or is it just me?

DH and I went to an informal talk with other couples about the challenges of marital life.

50% of the couples had kids. Besides us, 100% of every other couple was in their first marriage. 

I’m sorry. I know it isn’t right to compare and it doesn’t feel good when nonstep parents compare their situations to ours. But I’ve just got to pause and internally chuckle at the struggles I heard about from the couples who did not have children, let alone skids and BMs to contend with.

I waited to feel bad yesterday, but I never did.
