I just passed my one year mark of being disengaged and it has been GREAT!! Although, I think DH and SS would not agree, somehow they took note, and asked for involvement, but I held firm. They now know they are not in control me!! DH has admiited though it is less stresful around here.
Also, SS just turned 17, so one more year to go!!
