Weekend with SD...
Ok, so DH arranged to just have SD this weekend. I like it much better when it is just one of the kids, rather than the two of them. The two together are simply unbearable.
I'm curious though...
BM didn't pitch a fit because it's Mother's Day weekend. She didn't even ask about an early drop-off on Sunday, nothing. :?
Anywho, I have ZERO desire to spend MY Mother's Day with SD. Z-E-R-O.
We shall see.

Well of COURSE she didn't
Well of COURSE she didn't pitch a fit - that would mean she would have to watch her own kid! :O BM here is the same - she can't wait to get rid of the kids, and she doesn't rush to get them home, either!
She usually pitches a fit
She usually pitches a fit because she wants to get rid of BOTH of them at the same time. Also, she knows how horrible they are - getting rid of them and sic'ing them on us gives her great pleasure. She usually gets them very, very ramped up.
I believe last year she pulled the, "I'm going to be alone on Mother's Day because your dad is so mean to me and won't let me have my sweet, precious babies with me on MY day." (Forget that an early drop-off was scheduled, etc.)
So the SKIDS come over and raise holy fricking hell all weekend because of the bullsh*t their mother told them.
Eh. You know how that goes. Most of us on here have been through it. (sigh)
AND, by the way, I took off
AND, by the way, I took off in the morning to spend time with my own son and do my own thing before SD even woke up. It would have killed me for her to be the first child that I dealt with on Mother's Day. I had a beautiful day with my son. We went to breakfast and then to a Park that has miles of nature trails. We walked and talked for hours. It was great!
Afterward, I went home, but only after I knew that DH was on his way to take her back to her mom.
