Well apparently there are TWO Christmas parties at GG's work. The first one is for the "star players" at work and their wives which was to start at 5:30 on Friday at the owner's house.

Of course GG didn't tell me about that. Told me to show up at 5:30 at the "after party" at a local restaurant. This was all information given to me BEFORE GG blew up over my work story about a kid doing well in school.

Well first of all, I don't know where his boss lives; 2nd of all, I don't get out of work until 5, unlike GG and blue collar crew who are usually done at 4.

So I go to the "after party" and only one "non star player" employee and his wife are there. The "non stars" don't know about the first "special nation status" party at the owner's house. So all the non-stars start filtering in and asking me where GG is.

To backtrack: I wore a very professional suit since during our blow out the other night, GG told me that he "made me what I am today" and without him I "wouldn't have the job I have now" BLAH BLAH. I informed him that I was in the working world when he was in grade school and that I was successful in legal and real estate but needed to change my career to computers due to a whistle blowing issue. Of course being totally smashed, he mocked me out on that one. Like trying to reason with a parakeet.

I also offered to work at WALMART so that I wouldn't be in the county job I had now that HE IS BENEFITING FROM DIRECTLY. And I added "oh I won't be able to pay ALL of the mortgage and ALL of the utilities and ALL of the insurance and ALL of the taxes (you get the picture)

He shut up then.
