FDH has been out of town M-Fri training for his new job. Because of that, we didn't take the skids on Weds/Thurs last week. Instead we agreed to have them for the weekend (not regularly scheduled wknd). Since we were making up two nights lost, we planned that we'd have them Saturday and Sunday night and BM would take them on Monday for 4th of July.

Of course we used up all our sprinklers/fun stuff on Sunday night with the skids bc we weren't going to have them on the actual holiday. FDH called BM on Monday to see when she wanted them and she threw a fit. She said that she told FDH that she was going to be out camping all weekend and she said she wouldn't be back until late. She said they agreed we'd have them until Tuesday morning. FDH of course DOESN'T REMEMBER if this is true or not....

UGH its not a big deal but it bothers me so much that FDH doesn't pay enough attention to details like this. There are so many times where I wish I could just be involved in the conversations because she pulls this on him ALL. THE. TIME. She always says, "I TOLD you about this a long time ago..." and FDH always gives her the benefit of the doubt bc he can't frickin remember anything or doesn't pay attention.

The other thing that gets me is that BM got an extra free night out of the deal. Remember how last week she was complaining on her Facebook about needing a vacation from her kids (ahem...because 2 nights with them is too much to handle? and why do you need a vacation from your kids when you only parent them half the week?) and how she wanted me to take them by myself with my baby still on Weds/Thurs night?

Welp, she got her "vacation".
