Thought you all might appreciate this. Spot on article.... especially this quote,

"As a parent, I can empathize with how difficult raising children can be. There are challenges, especially within the framework of divorce, when parental guilt can sometimes blur what should be the best decision.

But I don't believe making a child's wishes top priority is a demonstration of love. Nor do I believe I, or the rest of the world, should act as a surrogate parents for somebody's bad-ass kids."

Notice the FROWN on the CNN woman's face when he said "spare the rod and spoil the child" and then started debating spanking.

I find the WORST behaved children are the ones who were never given an "attention getter" on the bottom. GG's kids, for example, are the WORST BEHAVED children I have EVER seen outside of a modern FB BM who starts "reasoning" with her three year old who's throwing a full blown tantrum as she bends over to show her tramp stamp and give "Junior" a cookie.

I love how he addresses guilty parenting after divorce and that kids are NOT the centre of the universe!! If they are treated by coddling bioparents as the centre of the universe they will develop a LACK of empathy for others and thus become sociopaths.

I read this article days ago...and shared it with some people. This article summarize my feelings. Most parents should take notes even those that think their kid is more adorable than the next.....
