DH was/is a complete ass!! SD13 comes home from school Friday and leaves at 5:00 and does not return until 6:00 Sunday evening (this is every weekend) No call to me or acknowledgment; she will txt dad. She gets home in time to give everyone an attitude, take a shower and go to be at 8. Like we are just beneath her.
We live next to her best friend; her parents are our best friends. They have diff partenting skills then us. (almost none - the 13 year old comes and goes and tells mom what she is going to do and mom listens and allows anyone over and what not) AAAAAAAHHHHHHH!!So, in turn our 13 loves to PLAY over there. She has been with us for almost seven months and has yet to make any sort of move to really get to know me; she makes it seem as if I am some big horrible monster that abuses her. She talks to her best friends mom like I wish she would talk to me. I don't ever have that opportunity because she is always over there and her mom acts like one of the girls. I do to a point; but I am the parent.
I try to tell dad that this is not right and the neighbors should not be raising her. His answer is basically - she is a B* and it's nice without her. :jawdrop: While I completely agree - I don't feel this is right....
