So we'll see how this all goes.  DH, YSD15 and myself were talking about holiday things in our house for the next several days.

I'm off work today by 1:00. DH is NOT helping me with the cookies he wants after all - he needs to go shopping. He's also been in a funk (as usual) so he's not been much fun (as usual) this time of year and it rubbed off on me. He volunteered YSD to make the cookies with me. WTH (?!). Fine. I tell her that I'm starting them between 1-2 and I'll let her know. And I told both of them if neither wants to help me then I'm not making them in the end.

Dinner tonight is 100% on DH as I've covered for him the last two nights because he's been pouting/put out. Ohhhhh, poor thing as I'm the only one working full time since Monday and I've got no effs to give at this point.

Xmas eve DH is in charge of main meal. I will roast potatoes and cauliflower. I will also make sourdough bread that afternoon (I typically make my own bread so this is fine with me). YSD will set table. YSD will also help me prep meatloaf for Xmas day dinner. YSD is also making gingerbread - which is good.

Cooking always take so freaking long and is always fraught. YSD doesn't ever help much, DH doesn't like doing it but I make him, and I'm not a personal chef.

Then NOTHING. I do NOTHING on Xmas day or boxing day other than stick the meatloaf in the oven.
