I realize that I often post on here when I'm frustrated/upset and typically DH has a lot to do with it. So I'm making a point to post that DH has been really considerate of me since we got in a huge fight over him not telling me 1-that SKs were coming over, 2-for how long, causing 3-us to have a huge fight and him to accuse me of not wanting SKs over ever.
After we both cooled off I explained that my problem is with him not telling me what's going on. It makes me feel like it's not my home when I don't have any idea what's going on in it. So today he told me when SKs are visiting again, for how long, and has even arranged to drop them off with BM with some of his time left over to possibly go to a movie or go to dinner with me afterward.
I am thrilled. It was very considerate of him. I don't think he realizes that meals have to be planned (SS4 is soy and milk protein intolerant so I have to plan accordingly) and sometimes I have other plans already made (whereupon DH usually gets huffy, like I knew on a psychic level he was going to have SKs over and intentionally made plans...that I could be so lucky ). It's not like our lives stop when SKs aren't with us.
So, I'm happy. It was very nice of DH and he even said he'd give me time to rest and put my feet up while they're visiting.
