OT return your shopping carts, folks!
There are stalls in the parking lot to corral them for a reason!
It is windy as f@$% today and there are carts blocking parking spaces and run into cars at the store! The best part? The stall is literally 20 feet (if that?) from the spaces they're being left!
I think this is one of my biggest pet peeves. I'll go as far to say that it is the shopper's obligation to put it back if they used it! Grrr!!

Most store here have carts
Most store here have carts that require a loonie (Canadian dollar coin) to use them.
They are either in the corral in the parking lot or just inside the door. Most people want their loonie back so they rarely abandon them in the parking lot.
Another reason I like Aldi
You put in a quarter (in the U.S.). Even though it is only 25¢ almost all shoppers put their cart back and the occasional stray cart is picked up quickly.
It's my pet peeve too. How hard is it to put your cart back? At Costco I park near the cart corral for that reason.
Total Pet Peeve
Why are people so lazy, and lack in courtesy? Just put the darn cart back, it takes less than two minutes to waddle back and return the cart. The coin in the shopping cart does help. BUT thats my second Pet Peeve! My coins often enough gets stuck and I have to find a cart that doesnt. SIGH. NA problems, never the less an annoyance.
Yep this is a pet peeve of
Yep this is a pet peeve of mine as well.... we live in a lazy society!
I just find it incredibly
I just find it incredibly rude and irresponsible. People's cars are being hit and parking spaces blocked. I wish we had the coin system here, but in my poor city, I don't see that happening.
I hate that nonsense and
I hate that nonsense and bitch about it all the time.. to the point that when we were leaving the grocery store the other day, BS8 noticed that someone left one of those motorized carts next to a handicap spot and was all offended that someone could be so "lazy" lol I had to explain that those are different, in that if someone needs one of those carts, that means they have difficulty walking and can't just drive it back in the store and walk out. lol
