Talk with DH about allegations didnt go so well...

I HAD to have a convo with DH outlining my issues and concerns surrounding all of this and he completely lost it. Told him I'm concerned that my kids may be questioned for totally fabricated allegations.

Accused me of only worrying about myself and my kids and don't I care about him and what hes going through?

Ummmmmm what?? He shut down totally and conversation ended. Guilted me and had me thinking.... am I overthinking this and being dramatic? Should I just shut up and not bring my worries to him? Was I wrong to do this?

With this pending Custody case looming over our heads he is understandably stressed to the MAX so I know I should be more understanding. Probably best I not voice my concerns at this point until this battle is over.

Its your job to put you and your kids first just like its his job to pur him and his daughter first.

And one could reasonably argue that he's only worrying about himself too. But that would be childish.

What you are worried about is not put of the realm of possibility. I would make a plan to have someplace to stay should this all go south and may be plan a weekend away visiting a relative anyway. You can't risk your kids ever.

You're going to need to do everything you can to protect yourself against these allegations and part of that is voicing your opinions and I'd advise hiring your own lawyer. DH is stressed yes, but you're the one being accused of abuse! He's not listening to you and doesn't understand or maybe care how adversely this could affect you and your childrens lives. His concern is himself and his daughter. Ask yourself if you really want to be w/a man who will put you and your children at risk like this?

This is a small glimpse into what the future holds.
