Quick Court Update

It is still going on. They grilled him for 2 AND A HALF HOURS :jawdrop: He wasn't able to call me but they had a 20 minute break where he was talking with his lawyer and he texted me a few things.

DH: Just got off the stand. Yes I have been grilled for 2.5 hours
CB: Holy cow, how did it go?
DH: Have to go back and on for the next 20 minutes
CB: Did she have any bombshells or just trying to discredit your purchases?
DH: All about camera gear, vegas etc:

Note - DH went to a photography conference in Vegas earlier this year. He saved for months and it was run by a professional photographer he admires. It was all about starting your own photography business with tons of educational seminars. He flew a red eye both ways and stayed in a super cheap hotel and did nothing fun but the seminar. Since he is trying to start a photography business to bring in some income, we felt it was a good investment. He learned SO much and put some of the ideas into practice already.

CB: How does your lawyer think you did?
DH: OK. I never got ruffled and I owned it.
CB: I'm proud of you babe
DH: It's not over yet
CB: Did they ask about my income a lot?
DH: Oh yes
CB: That's disgusting. How did that go? Did the lawyer Object a lot?
CB: She's so disgusting to try and make another woman pay for the kids that she made
DH: I am not defending her but it's just the legal process. It sucks going to court
CB: Yea. So did the lawyer object? How much info did you have to give out about my finances?

I stopped hearing from him (they probably got called back in) so I texted "Good luck with the rest"

I hope his lawyer DESTROYS her on the stand. He hasn't made a single purchase we're ashamed of or can't justify. Plus, HE HAS NEVER MISSED A PAYMENT! Also, when he was purchasing camera equipment and signing up for the conference, we thought he was close to getting a job (which didn't pan out).

UGH the waiting is killing me. She will probably be on the stand at least an hour, who knows

We went on a very nice honeymoon which I'm sure she will try to grill him about. But *MY* parents gave us a large check for the wedding which we used, so she can shove it

We heard back from DH lawyer today and BM lawyer managed to get the court date pushed to mid January again. Seems they need time to submit what BM wants.

Let's see - SS18 lives at college, DH pays tuition, health insurance and give him money when needed. SS14 now lives with us and we pay everything. She is still getting $1,200 a month CS and most likely will not have to pay DH back for the last 4 months. What the hell could she possibly want?

DH: I didn't have to disclose anything about your financials
CB: How did the rest go, guessing she gets grilled next?
DH: Yeah.
CB: How does the judge seem?
DH: Female impatient
CB: With you? Or the fact that BM2's lawyer wasted so much time asking you about dumb $hit
DH: It's hard to say. Yes she was getting impatient as she went through all my credit cards over the last 2 years. And Italy and Vegas etc. and camera gear etc.
CB: lol I hope your lawyer asks about BM2 constantly shopping at Nordstroms and the debt on the card she's had there for 5+ years and hasn't paid off. And her zip line and new car and new washer/dryer and new grill and the big ski trip she's going on in 2 weeks
