Well I am back here posting again.... The kids are with us this weekend and I am sitting here fuming over an incident. Honestly I don't know who to be more upset with SS or his dad for not shoring him up. All was well until after dinner.Kids went to living room to watch TV and my SO and I followed. I turned on a lamp since it was dark. SS says "What?! I was looking forward to watching TV in the dark?! Are you going to read?" My SO says ugh-uh No. So we sit down and SS says "can't you go in your room? I want to watch TV in the dark? I'm thinking OMG who do YOU think you are?! :jawdrop: My SO exclaims "young man!" Then a second later my dog (who is sitting between SS and I on the couch) barks. SS leans over her and reaches out to her gesturing like he wants to hit her and says AARRGH! because he is mad that she is making noise while he is watch TV-like how dare the dog make noise and interfere with him listening to the TV. He then asks how long is the show, to which I respond "not long if you keep it up!" He just looked at me. I am so mad at him! Are kids that self centered?? Or just that stupid?? And I am so disappointed in my SO/his dad for allowing his son to behave like this! SS is 11 btw if that makes any difference.
