My wife and her ex compete over their 5 year old son. ..who can get him to like them the most, etc. They baby him continuously and let him get away with everything so that when he is with the other parent he will hopefully wish for the other oneor whatever.
In the meantime their daughters 6 and 7 are pushed aside so to speak.
I see bad behaviors developing from this but when I voice concern it is taken very lightly.
anyone? anyone?

You could show the two girls, if they are in your life, that they matter. Favoritism sucks, and it will eventually cause resentment.

That 5 year old will eventually grow up to be a heinous adolescent with a huge sense of entitlement and ability to manipulate. I guess, if you feel like it, you could wait til then to tell them both "I told you so" while enjoying the company of the other two lovely young ladies.

His, do you ever get tired of being spot on? Biggrin She's right, cmw, they are creating a monster who will have little way of making it in the real world.
