My SS is 22 but still under the thumb of BM which is fine whatever - we really don't care since we hardly ever see him. But my question is, my DH talks to our 2 yr old DS about his older brother constantly. Well DS knows who he is and likes seeing him when he's here but it's so rare, it's just not family-like to me. I know I'm being weird but we've got another one coming in August and I'm wondering how we talk to them about this when they are old enough to understand.

The only times we ever see SS is when it's gift time, he needs money or DH guilts him into coming over. It's really uncomfortable for me to talk to DS about this big brother thing when the kid is never around.
