Ok, a little run down of my situation~ My fiance was married before to a woman older than he, his wife had a daughter that was more into drugs than her child so dcf placed the little girl with them... several years pass, and grandmother dies... leaving child with MY FIANCE as guardian. All well and good right?... WRONG!!!
Now fastforward to our life together~ i came into the relationship with my two sons... for the past 3yrs i have had to endure harrassment and court dealings over this child from her bio-grandparents (bio-mother & father have never had anything to do with her) NOT fair to me. I say~ let the bio family have her... THEY are her blood. My fiance is simply her "Step-grandfather"... I DON"T GET IT!!!!! She and I both would be happier! I have really tried to love this child but i just can't. She is not mine and we don't relate. This is causing problems between my fiance and i big time and i am not going to split up over this 13yr old brat. I don't know what to do. If i have ANYTHING to say about her to my fiance, he gets extremely upset~ but yells at my boys whenever he feels the need. She is golden.
