Ex SS Marrying Today

I left over a year ago when 30 year old SS and girlfriend moved in and she was telling me to move out.  I had finally had enough and left after 20 years of awfulness.

Today he is marrying her and I do not have to pretend I am part of the family. My quiet house is not overrun with his icky friends and her taking over everything. I am erased. My name and presence will not be in existence for this event. And guess what?

I LOVE IT!

My ex whom I still talk to has been sick all these years. I was more of an unpaid unappreciated caregiver/slave there who meant nothing to them. Now the son and wife can take him to endless doctor appointments, look after him and keep things together. I got nothing but abuse for my trouble.

Just want to say Happy Valentine’s Day to me and to all of you who wonder if it’s worth it, it wasn’t for me. I’m not missing a thing.

Happy Valentines Day.  Enjoy your high end Champagne and toast your freedom from that tragicly toxic shallow and polluted gene pool.  With this marriage, sadly the gene pool will continue.

This is our 27th VD.  This one we are celebrating bundled up in our home with the fire place on.  We will have mimossas with dinner, my bride will open her pile of cards, it is a thing I started doing while we were dating.  Several cards for special celebrations.  Funny ones, romantic ones, all personalized for the incredible woman I am blessed to share life with.

Now You have peace. Like you I am a survivor of step shit, and the other side is flipping amazing. May every holiday or occassion be filled with joy. Unlike the anxiety and resentment that reared its ugly head for every damn occassion!

Congrats on the union of SS and the bitchy wife. Hope they have fun caring for dear ol"dad. My bet they will tire of being the gatekeeper and wish you were back to abuse. HAPPY ENDINGS!

Glad that you got out! Slavery was ended a long time ago, and there is no need for you ever to bow down to the altar of the failed first family, even if the kiddo is famous.

Hopefully a ball will hit him on the head and he will have an epiphany. Hopefully this ex you still talk to has apologised many times over.
