Redhead, greeneyes, most things look good on me
I'm 5'8" avg size d boobs, don't want to show em off too much so a square or scoop is best, v is ok, crossover doesn't work.

Shorts and a fishing shirt (not that I fish but one of those performance fabric shirts with a lot of pockets).

This is my first (hopefully only) marriage. I wore a dark red knee length halter top dress for our wedding. It was quite unconventional but worked well for our Vegas wedding! The chapel was across the street from a strip club & there were strippers swinging on a sex swing in the lot, yelling "congratulations" to us. It was bizarre but it made for a fun memory of the day for us.

I have good story for you.....I wore my mom's wedding dress when I got married the second time. It was an aqua colored dress, they got marreid very quickly. She was only 15 at the time. I was 29 and was not sure I could fit into her tiny little dress but I did. To me that was precious, not that I fit into the gown, but because this was what my mother was married in.

Mine was long, tight-fitting, wine-colored, and sleeveless. I am built like you, with a different coloring. I found a necklace, earrings, lipstick and a flower to pin to the dress in exact same color. Everyone loved how i looked. No wine needed, I was drunk on love... Smile For the reception i had a grey shawl to throw over my shoulders and my shoes were a soft shade of grey. Happy times...

I just want the photos to be perfect! You know, that jump on the beach thing. It's just me, dh, a few friend couples, my sister & Bro in law, His brother and sis in law. We're not telling the kids til we get back. Just don't want the drama of having them all there, skids won't go, and mine are all working on babies and saving their $$. I love love love red. This one would be perfect - the neckline flatters my bust and i have a small waist so dh would love this. http://www.modcloth.com/shop/dresses/lady-love-song-dress not sure I want to be the lady in red for my wedding on a beach...

I wore a (very) short cream colored lace dress with 5" heels. The dress was custom made, very couture. Smile We were married downtown in a major metropolitan city wedding. It was perfect for us.

Btw - skids weren't invited. Just our closest friends.

My wedding gown is a Sottero and Midgley, the dress is Suzette. http://www.sotteroandmidgley.com/dress.aspx?style=JSM1393

I can't wait ot wear it in May!
We are getting married in a small hill town in Italy. It is long, cream, and lace.

I am 5'5 125lbs, large chest and small waist. The dress if perfect for my body type.
I also don't want cleavage everywhere! So I really understand your neckline comment.

The dress is elegant and somehow fits the venue, it looks like an era gone by.

It is a dress I have always dreamed about wearing.

I am very happy for you congratulations!

Never had a 1st, 2nd was long, white satin with buttons down the back. My third and final was the best though! I got it online from David's Bridal for $60 and had it shortened to just above the knee. It was sleeveless, white satin with a beaded sparkly belt and sequins at the bottom. I LOVED it.

DH and I got married on the beach, just me and him and his 2 best friends (he performed our marriage ceremony and his wife took photos). We spent the weekend up at the lake, rented a boat, fished, swam, had a blast. It was amazing.

I wish I could post a pic here but don't know how. It's not on their website anymore so I'd have to post a pic of me wearing it.

First wasn't a dress, but black jeans and a green sweater (we did the courthouse thing, my DH at the time was in the military about to be shipped off and we were both 19, couldn't afford much).

2nd was a long white dress with buttons all the way down the back, white satin, beautiful - but married the wrong dude, clearly.

3rd (and FINAL) was a short sleeveless white dress, cut above the knee with a beaded and crystal sash and large opaque sequins at the bottom. Very cute, summery and sweet. I adore it and it hangs in my closet on a satin hanger. Great memories.

I wore white for my second wedding. I had people try to tell me I "couldn't" wear white but I didn't care what they thought. Besides, it is a mistaken belief that a white wedding dress is a sign of purity. White was actually a sign of affluence, because commoners couldn't afford white fabric back in the day. The true symbol of purity is a veil with a blusher. I didn't wear a veil and I didn't have a train on my dress. I did that the first time and wanted to keep it more simple. I loved my dress, white satin strapless, very simple and nothing that will make it obvious exactly what decade it was when I look at the pics later...no offense to my sister but her wedding pictures scream 90s wedding with her huge puffed sleeves and big poofy veil. I just like stuff more classic and timeless.

I love colored wedding dresses. Had I not fallen in love with my dress, I might have picked something pink or silver. Anything goes these days. My little sister is getting married next month and she's wearing a short, sexy strapless dress with hot pink heels. She's going to be fabulous!

Wedding dresses are available in varied colors, patterns and lengths. What you select is certainly a matter of personal opinion. One thing you should be attentive towards when it comes to selecting wedding dresses is that you should not always depend on a second or third opinion entirely...

I haven't had a second marriage. My first was at a JP quickly after Sept 11, 2001 because we decided that the world was too uncertain to wait until we could have a "proper" wedding. So, my dress was not really a wedding dress. More like a nice suit set.

we dunn runned off and gots hitched!!!

lol - seriously, we took off for the weekend, went to the mountains and got married in a little wedding chapel that does that kinda thing, and didnt tell anyone until we got back. i had an off-white sweater and knee-boots, with dark jeans. then on our first anniversary, we had kind of a commitment ceremony w/ a few friends and family - i wore this, also in ivory (but ditched the shawl)

ETA - our ceremony was in the fall on the front porch with beautifully warm weather, so that dress was perfect for an airy, outside thing...

Here's mine . . I'm a size 12 (a little curvier than you ladies). I have light brown skin and we got married in July and had just left the beach so I was glowing. My shoes even matched the ones in the pic. The dress fit every curve just right. I not only felt like a beautiful bride but I felt SEXY honey! *****I chose the CAFE AND CREAM dress not the black one.

WHITE AND LONG! One thing that I love is that BM didn't wear a white dress when she and DH got married. So the whole "white dress bride" coming down the isle belongs solely to me and DH. I love it.

I also wore white and long for my first wedding... it was cheep but fit me beautifully. Gotta go more expensive and exquisite 2nd time around Smile

My very slender college athlete 5'9" 32-A cup size 6-8 XW wore her mothers dress. Ivory with a boad load of seed pearls. Even the beautiful dress did not counter the severe lack of character that she brought hidden to our marriage. That was the $25K wedding. She was brunette with ice blue eyes.

My amazing bride of nearly 19 years wore an off the shelf $200 white satin highly tailored column dress to our $500 wedding. She is tall, 5'11" and at the time was a 36-C/D cupped size 8-10 blonde.

I much prefer the look of the laid back, happy, hottie from my second wedding to the uptight stuffy formality of my first.

Hope this helps with your research.

We ended up having to go to JOP. Kinda funny story...we got engaged on Friday, February 13th. DH is military and left March 28th for a 7 month deployment. He was in the states for the first week, thankfully. He called me on the 30th of March, after I had dropped him off from where he was leaving, and said "uhm honey, if it's okay with you, we kinda should get married now instead of October like we planned". Come to find out, he had been told that his housing allowance wouldn't be affected by him leaving...WRONG. He found out while doing the paperwork that he wouldn't be getting it while he was gone, so we wouldn't have had enough $ to pay the mortgage...ugh. The only way he could keep it was if he had dependents back home that needed to have a place to live. So, I drove back down and we got married on April 2nd. I told him it was a good damned thing he had already proposed or else that wouldn't have happened!

Anyway, I wore a black skirt with fuschia heels and a fuschia sleeveless blouse. I made my bouquet while in the hotel room before we walked to the JOP. It was fun...everyone we passed knew where we were headed and wished us luck. Not the wedding in the woods at the top of the waterfall that we had planned, but perfect nontheless.

DH and BM had a courthouse wedding and she wore a long prom dress. DH wore a suit.

So when we got married he wanted a formal church wedding. TBH, I could have went to a little chapel but I wanted him to be happy and feel good about our union so I agreed.

We had a really nice formal wedding with close family and a few friends. I wore a long, white formal gown with silver trim. It was very pretty. DH wore a tux.

We had a nice slightly informal reception with lots of laughter and kisses.

We had an awesome day! Smile

** Edited to add** I did not wear a veil just a flower and silver pins in my hair.
