ok so know this has nothing to do with the whole steptalk thing, but i would love all of your opinions on this. Im so confused! i have been with my partner for just over 12 months and not once have i ever felt phisically attracted to him. I think he is good looking and stuff but just cant have sex with him and enjoy it! sex is a chore or me i do not enjoy it at all. But the weird thing is i absolutly love him! i couldnt live without him i love being with him. The relationship for me is more emotional. what is wrong with me??:(:(

I am on a number of meds at the moment, antidepressants and stuff. Have been takin them for about two years now. this is the first relationship that this has happened though. Do you think it could be the meds??

If you are on antidepressants for depression, than the depression AND the drugs can have an effect on you.

If you aren't having any physical pain when you are together physically, then you can rule that out.

See your doctor, and discuss the situation. Maybe you can change drugs.

If your partner isn't bothered by the situation, than I wouldn't stress about it.

Many people have different sex drives. If you believe the media, you are led to believe that everyone should be going at it like rabbits all the time. As long as the partners are not diametrically opposite in their sex drive, things can be fine. What works best for you and your partner is your business, this isn't a competition.
