Need commitment from u sista's on camp!!
Ok, I really don't know what has happened. Colorado girl leaves me a voice mail that tells me that no one is coming to the camp, that she may have to cancel her flight arrangements. Automatically I start to freak out!! I have been planning and working so hard to be able to supply all you sista's with a fun and enjoyable weekend. I'm hurt. I do understand that there are things that do come up, really I do, but to everyone? Is there a secret conspiracy going on? We as step/bio mothers always take care of others first, why can we not take care of us for once!!
Please let me know as soon as possible if you plan on coming. We still have a few weeks. To plan. I just really feel bad for Colorado girl that she is going to have to take a hit on her ticket. (even though she said it was ok, 100.00 is a lot to me) .
Sorry this is gloomy, but I really had my hopes high!
Ps: the wine is already at the cabin just waiting for us. Respond...
I just posted on my blog that I am back in!
Still need final confirmation that MIL is not flying to TX, and I can stop sitter searching. Will have that in the AM. At the very least I can boomerang down there by Fri evening, and boomerang back on Sunday morning. Would rather take a few days down and back. But...I am DETERMINED. And did not mean to cause such a ruckus.
