Do anyone have any ideas on how to make a child between the age of 8-10 learn multiplication in a fun & creative way?

Buy a bag of candies my first thought is skittles. .. make piles and times them by the amiunt in the pile then count them so on and so forth reward with the skittles. It gives a good understanding of what multiplication actually is.

I like lil_lady's idea either that or whatever he could be interested in - I know SS learned to count because of DH's shifter in his truck

Also teachers normally have alternative resources
