I am the girlfriend of a father of four. The BM has continuously sent text messages taking personal jabs at me for little to no reason. I have asked her to leave me out of any conflicts about the children; have told her to stop harrassing me, yet it continues. Yesterday I got called spinless, pathetic, a quitter, a fool and an idiot. However, on several occasions, I have also received the texts that state how much she appreciates me and loves how the kids love me. I would like to point out that nothing she called me, except a college dropout are true.

I took the high road and said nothing offensive in return, however, I am at my breaking point. This woman is relentless and although I really don't let her phase me, I do worry about the children and what is being told to them.

How do you keep the children from suffering? I am sure this topic has been covered many times, however, I am new to the site and haven't found any yet.
