BM's simple request
BM asked of BF, "Please make sure SS goes to bed. He's been sneaking up in the middle of the night to get on my laptop and watch movies on YouTube all night long." Is it just me, or does the solution to this problem seem simple? Put a password on your laptop...

$$$???
I thought she was broke. Where's the money for internet coming from?

This is the only luxury she has left. I'm suprised the internet's still on myself.
She has leins on her home and her bank accounts (and her parents' bank accounts) for not paying her debts. I'd say the last things she's got left that she's still actually paying are the electricity and internet (she doesn't have to pay for water because she's on a well). She also still has her new car so I assume she's still paying for that as well...I've never had anything repossessed but I assume they come take it from you when that happens?
She claims that she gets about $900/month on unemployment. I have tried looking, but can't figure out how long that is going to last. I figure, at about $300 for the car, $300-400 for the house, $100 for electricity and $100 for internet (rounding), she's already at maximum capacity. The only extra (and by extra, I mean not paying for anything other than the bare minimum necessities) money she gets is BF's child support, which is why she's suing him for more money.
I'm like you. She's crying that she has no money and has her phones turned off but she's planning a trip across the state for this week while SS is with us. WTF? That's a whole week where she could look for jobs and schedule interviews. But no. She's going on a pleasure trip.

Yep, simple
put a password on the computer. I have one on my laptop anyway.
laptops are portable also...
She could unplug it and take it with her into her bedroom, and if it came down to it she could put it between her mattress and box spring...
oops! I meant to post a comment and I sent you a message instead.
RE:
Sorry, I read your message before reading this. I think my response is worth mentioning here...
I thought of this as well. But since SS sleeps in the bed with BM most of the time, it wouldn't do much good for her to bring her laptop with her to bed.
