Ex is controlling our lifes.
We just started following our new decree. My H has to drop SD off at the ex's house in the morning and pick her up at night after school as BM doesn't want us to have a sitter. My H dropped off SD this morning and already the first day she starts yelling at him. I am so sick of BM trying to control my husband and yelling at him in front of SD. What can I do to shut her up. Also she is bringing my children into her problems and I don't really think my children are any of her business. Someone please help me I am GoingNuts.

SD's BM
Blamed my sons for SD's unhappiness, as well as my 2 year old, and myself for that matter. Her Aunt who is a nun wrote my H several letters about taking SD out of Catholic school (neither DH or BM practice anymore, and SD was begging to switch to public school.) The nun also stated that all SD's problems were due to having a SM, SS, and a new baby sister. NOT that SD's behavior was influenced by a BM who called her a mooron, who wouldn't take SD to her DR appts when BM lived next door to the Dr (NOT exaggerating, BM's yard was against Ped Dr's parkinglot!) Not b/c of a BM who refused any weekend time with SD, who continuously made fun of us and SD for seeing a psychologist, who would say SD could sign up for sports and then refused to take her on her nights, the list goes on and on.
Yeah...I was a bit peeved at the suggestion that all of SD's woes were due to me and my children. But I guess it's a family thing for them to blame everyone else for their unhappiness and failures.
I'm not sure there's much you can do. Does BM have legal custody? Did the court mandate no babysitters? B/c if not there's one thing you can take control of. But if BM has legal custody it is my understanding your H is not allowed to sign SD up for any daycare provider.
Peace, love, and red wine
